Japanese Art influenced the low diagonal lines and off center subject in this still life painting of a vase and flowers. My husband purchased the French Silks for me during a period when he was traveling and working out of town, and wasn't able to buy fresh roses for me as often as he wanted. The roses were always accompanied by fine chocolates as well. Roses and chocolates have always made me smile...
